2026/27 season tickets on sale now

Monday, June 29th, saw members convene for the Annual General Meeting of Camborne RFC.

During the meeting, reports were presented from various sections across the club, celebrating the many successes achieved over the past season. Notably the promotion of all 3 senior squads and our Colts reaching both the league and cup finals.

Following the reports, the election of officers took place, bringing some notable changes to key positions within the club:

President: Terry Williams has stood down and will be replaced by former club chair Jason Mitchell.

Chair: Martin Symons will continue in his role as Chair.

Vice-Chair: The position of Vice-Chair, previously held by Adrian Trewhella, was vacated, and Emma Clemens-Tresidder was duly elected by the members to take his place.

Secretary: Stuart Hood replaces Richard Simeons. Heartfelt thanks were given to Richard for his long service. During his seven-year tenure as secretary, he saw the club grow massively and was instrumental in the completion of the Town Bid deal works, which brought over £1 million worth of infrastructure to the club and the wider community.

Honorary Treasurer: This role will now be occupied by Steve Cowburn, as Ian Matthews has stepped down from the position.

Life Membership Elections

Finally, the election of life members took place. It was proposed that Bill Hussey and Martyn Trestrail be made life members, and the motion passed unanimously.

Both Bill and Martyn have worked tirelessly with the club for many decades and have witnessed a huge amount of change. Martyn was notably part of the 1978 Centenary Squad and still remains an active member of the club today.
