Jago joined us initially ahead of the 2022/23 season, where his impact was felt immediately. A summer playing in Australia honed his skill set further before his return to Town.
His performances soon caught the eye of Plymouth Albion in National League 1 where he became an immediate fixture in their pack, making 20 appearances and scoring notable tries while helping guide the club to a strong fourth-place finish.
Loan spells back to Camborne during times of injury crisis eventually led to a full-time return to The Rec, pleasing coaches and fans alike.
Alongside his club exploits, Jago has transitioned seamlessly into the Senior Cornwall County setup. He has been a consistent choice in the second row for big Bill Beaumont Cup fixtures, contributing to Cornwall’s championship runs.
Having Jago back for this campaign is a massive win for Camborne, bringing high-level National League intensity and versatile forward cover right back to the heart of their pack.
