Saturday will be a day to celebrate all three of our senior teams securing promotion from their respective Leagues.
This success is momentous and fantastic for the Club and the town of Camborne.
Please arrive early as matchday parking will be limited.
To ensure everyone has a match day to remember on Saturday the Club has put into place some changes that will make it a special occasion for one and all.
For the first part of the day the clubhouse will be in use by our match day sponsors and invited guests with both bars being used from 12pm until kick off at 3pm.
The Club will be providing the following outlets so that members and supporters have a choice of bars and food options outside.
In front of the clubhouse there will be two marquees at each end of the seating area. One marquee will house a Cocktail Bar and within the other will be a selection of draught beers along with a Guinness Bar.
The Sharp’s Fan Zone up at the Recreation Ground will be open at 1pm where there will be entertainment provided by the popular Stuns’ls Shanty Group from 2pm to kick off.
Before kick off supporters can cast their vote for 1st XV Player of the Year at our stand situated next to the Club Shop.
There will be food outlets available outside the clubhouse and at the Sharp’s Fan Zone provided by our caterers Roseworthy Farms.
On the final whistle please remain at The Recreation Ground for the presentation on the pitch of the National Two West trophy and medals.
The presentations will be made by Cornwall RFU President and Cherry & Whites British Lion Andy Reed, Camborne and Cornwall legend Chris Durant and our esteemed Life Member Alan Truscott. Chris and Alan were captain and coach respectively of the all conquering Centenary season team of 1977/78.
After the match please join Stuns’ls back in the Sharp’s Fan Zone where they will lead a mass sing along.
Entertainment begins in the Clubhouse at 6pm with music from the fabulous Morpheus Decades of Dance. There will then be an auction of some sought after items of Cherry & Whites memorabilia at approximately 7.45pm before the evening gets into full swing with a Champions Disco & Karaoke Party with our own Will Garwood on the decks.
