Camborne II 14 – 13 Newquay Hornets
Camborne narrowly retained their 100% record with a hard fought win over Newquay at the CSM Memorial Ground.
In tricky conditions there was little to choose between the two teams in the opening half with ‘Town’ leading 7-3 at the break.
The home side got to 14-8 up inside the final quarter before an unconverted try from the visitors made for an anxious last few minutes.
For the winners fly half Will Hennessy and No 8 Cameron Bone scored tries with Hennessy landing both conversions.
