Another great re-signing for Town.
Jon Drew has firmly established himself as a cornerstone of the senior squad. The prop is a veteran leader for the club. He has stepped up as captain, notably steering the side through several seasons in the highly competitive South West Premier league. Drew seamlessly took over the reins during the promotion season when captain Jordan Rose suffered a long spell of injury.
For the 2025/26 season, he was officially named “Club Captain” as part of the Men’s Senior Leadership Team, working alongside 1st XV Captain and international hooker Sam Matavesi.
Jon is highly regarded for his hard-nosed work ethic in the front row, his leadership during big victories and his durability over years of physical rugby.
